Policy Support Assistant for the EU Agency AMLA in Frankfurt am Main – Interim/Zeitarbeit
We are looking for a Policy Support Assistant (M/F/D) for a multinational client in Frankfurt/Main, the EU Agency Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism AMLA.
Client:
- The Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA) is a decentralised EU agency that coordinates national authorities to ensure the correct and consistent application of EU rules. The aim of the EU Authority is to transform the anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) supervision in the EU and enhance cooperation among financial intelligence units (FIUs).
- At the AMLA you can become part of an international and multicultural team presently in its set-up phase.
Main tasks:
Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:
Coordinate relationships and collaboration with key AMLA stakeholders, including competent authorities, FIUs, EU institutions, private sector representatives and internal AMLA teams, while supporting meetings, working groups, supervisory activities and stakeholder events.
Communication, Reporting and Knowledge Management:
Prepare and maintain briefings, presentations, support preparation of reports, policy documents, communications and stakeholder materials, while ensuring effective information management, record-keeping and consistent messaging.
Qualifications:
- Degree
Professional Experience:
- Between 5 years and 15 years of policy support experience. Experience drafting documents, coordinating stakeholder input, organising meetings, and monitoring deadlines.
IT Skills:
- MS Office package: Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT.
- TEAMS
- Document management experience
Language Skills:
English is the standard working language and therefore a C1 level is required
Other skills and competences:
Technical Competencies
- Ability to draft, review and format policy documents, briefings, meeting notes and correspondence.
- Ability to collect, analyse and present information in a clear and structured manner.
- Experience coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking follow-up actions.
- Ability to work with databases, spreadsheets and collaboration tools to monitor activities and deadlines.
Interpersonal competencies
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and under pressure and/or time constraints.
- Excellent client/service orientation.
- Ability to address issues with a problem-solving attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
Remuneration:
- Above market level salary
- German interim employment contract (Zeitarbeitsvertrag/Arbeitnehmerüberlassung)
