Python Software Developer for Financial Applications

Infeurope is looking for a Python Software Developer to join a European institution operating in the financial sector.

This is a long-term consultancy assignment offering a fully remote setup and the opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced financial applications within an international environment.

• Location: Hybrid, Luxembourg presence mandatory

Missions:

You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of financial software applications, working in a structured and collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining Python-based applications
• Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices
• Applying software design patterns and object-oriented principles
• Implementing automated testing (unit tests, pytest, behave)

Technical Requirements

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Senior Consultant: minimum 6 years of experience
• Strong experience in Python and SQL in a professional environment
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (pytest, unit test, behave)
• Proficiency with NumPy and Pandas
• Experience with XML, JSON, YAML and Git
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, batch)
• Experience with other languages (Java, R, MATLAB, Julia)
• Knowledge of Plotly, Dash
• Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
