Project Assistant for the EU Agency AMLA in Frankfurt am Main – Interim/Zeitarbeit

We are looking for a Project Assistant – Project and Administrative Support (M/F/D) for a multinational client in Frankfurt/Main, the EU Agency Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism AMLA.

Client:

  • The Authority for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AMLA) is a decentralised EU agency that coordinates national authorities to ensure the correct and consistent application of EU rules. The aim of the EU Authority is to transform the anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) supervision in the EU and enhance cooperation among financial intelligence units (FIUs).
  • At the AMLA you can become part of an international and multicultural team presently in its set-up phase.

 Main tasks:

AMLA IT Project Managers need assistance with tasks such as scheduling, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and compliance with internal procedures.

  • Assist Project Managers with project planning and monitoring activities
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation (plans, reports, meeting minutes)
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications
  • Track progress and update project dashboards
  • Support procurement and contract management processes related to projects
  • Ensure compliance with AMLA internal guidelines and reporting requirements

Qualifications:

Essential: Secondary education completed; preferably a diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field

Advantageous: Certification in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP).

Professional Experience:

Essential:

  • At least 2 years of experience in project support, coordination, or administrative roles.
  • Experience in preparing documentation, reports, and managing schedules.

Advantageous:

  • Experience in supporting EU or international projects.
  • Familiarity with procurement and contract management processes.

IT Skills:

Essential:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar).

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge of collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

Language Skills:

Essential: English: C1 level (working language), ability to draft clear and concise documents in English.

Advantageous: Any additional EU language is an asset

Other skills and competences:

Essential:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Advantageous:

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Problem-solving and proactive attitude.

Remuneration:

  • Above market level salary
  • German interim employment contract (Zeitarbeitsvertrag/Arbeitnehmerüberlassung)

Location: Frankfurt/Messeturm

Start date: 15. March 2026, approx.

End date: 6 months
