Legal Assistant for the EU Agency EIOPA in Frankfurt am Main – Interim/Zeitarbeit

We are looking for a Legal Assistant (M/F/D) for a multinational client in Frankfurt/Main, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority EIOPA.

Main tasks:

Ensuring efficient and effective support to EIOPA’s Legal Unit to fulfil its objective. The Legal Assistant to the Legal Unit will primarily provide administrative assistance to the Legal Unit, including the Data Protection Officer. It is expected to take initiative, speak and write excellent English, be very accurate, pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work well in a very dynamic environment. Moreover, it is expected to have a pro-active, hands-on approach and be capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

In particular, the jobholder will be asked to perform the following tasks:

Provide general administrative support to the Legal Unit, such as:

  • checking and formatting documents (including drafting complaint handling responses, documents and memos;
  • document and file management, including all litigation documents;
  • monitoring internal and external deadlines;
  • monitoring functional mailboxes;
  • Monitoring caselaw, where relevant for the activities of the Legal Unit
  • Support Data Protection Officer in personal data documentation

Education:

A post-secondary education attested by a diploma in law.

Work Experience:

At least one year work experience, gained in a multicultural environment. Ideally some experience in an EU agencies or institution environment to allow for easy integration.

IT Skills:

Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, in particular Word, Excel, and AI tools.

Language Skills:

Essential: English (working proficiency; able to communicate clearly in writing and orally with internal stakeholders).

Remuneration:

  • Above market level salary
  • German interim employment contract (Zeitarbeitsvertrag/Arbeitnehmerüberlassung)

Location: Frankfurt, Westhafenplatz 1

Start date: Mid April 2026, approx.

End date: 3 months, extension for another 6 month is likely
