Data Governance Senior Consultant – Hybrid & Part time position
infeurope is looking for a Data Governance Senior Consultant with at least 7 years of experience.
Start: 15/09/2025 End: 14/01/2026 Extension? Yes, up to 4 extensions of 6 months each.
Location: Hybrid. The Consultant is expected to work 90% off-site and up to 10% on-site, with a maximum of 2 working days per month at the client’s premises, subject to ad-hoc requests and business needs.
DESCRIPTION
In support of the Corporate Governance & Internal Policies (CGIP) team, the consultant will provide the following services to the client:
• MS Purview Pilot Business case;
• MS Purview Pilot Planning phase;
• Data policies and processes review and development;
• Data Quality Management;
• Metadata management.
DELIVERABLES
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following deliverables to the client:
• Evaluate and update MS Purview scenarios for structured and unstructured data;
• Update the business case and help in preparation of the MS Purview pilot project planning phase;
• Draft of requirements for the rolling out and usage of MS Purview;
• Propose the vision and strategy for improvement of the Data Architecture;
• Draft proposals for improving data governance framework, policies, and processes;
• Suggest the improvements of the upgraded Data Catalogue and its Metadata;
• Draft a proposal and help in implementing the Data Quality best practices;
• Prepare presentations and educate data champions with Data Management concepts and best practices;
• Regular status report.
DESIRED CONSULTANT
Technical Skills:
The Senior Consultant must have the following skill sets of more than 7 years of experience of/in:
• Good knowledge of MS Purview and its functions for the Data Governance;
• Extensive experience in similar assignments;
• Experience in developing Data Governance Framework, Strategy, Data Governance policies and processes;
• Experience in project management and coordination of tasks;
• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of international best practices regarding data governance (e.g. DAMA/DMBok);
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of commonly used Data Governance software tools and applications;
• Knowledge of modern data architecture would be an advantage;
• Previous work experience with EU institutions or international organizations would be an advantage.
