Accounting Assistant for the EU Agency EIOPA in Frankfurt am Main – Interim/Zeitarbeit
We are looking for a Legal Assistant (M/F/D) for a multinational client in Frankfurt/Main, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority EIOPA.

EIOPA is an independent advisory body to the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.

Main tasks:
The interim is expected to play a supporting role in the Accounting Team to fulfil its objectives.
In particular, he/she will be requested to:
- Providing specialised and operational support throughout the employment cycle, in particular handling the VAT recovery from the German fiscal authorities;
- Coordinating activities in connection with the annual audit of EIOPA’s accounts;
Undertaking designated administrative tasks, including document archiving, drafting and formatting of financial documents.
Education:
A post-secondary education attested by a diploma or a secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education, preferably in the field of Accounting or Finance.
Work Experience:
At least one year work experience, gained in a multicultural environment. Ideally some experience in an EU agencies or institution environment to allow for easy integration.
IT Skills:
Expert knowledge of MS office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Language Skills:
German: Proficiency level C2 (native or equivalent)
English: Proficiency level C1 (advanced professional proficiency)
Remuneration:
- Above market level salary
- German interim employment contract (Zeitarbeitsvertrag/Arbeitnehmerüberlassung)
Location: Frankfurt, Westhafenplatz 1
Start date: July 2026, approx.
End date: 6 months, extension possible to maximum 9 months
