Support at Europa Experience Centre in Luxembourg
infeurope is looking for candidates as Support to the European Parliament at, the Europa Experience Multimedia Centre, located in Luxembourg – Kirchberg.
This position is perfectly suited for candidates interested by a first work experience, with Master in the fields of Law, Economics, Political Sciences, translation and European Affairs.
Candidates should be citizens of Member States of the European Union (EU).
Working hours: 9:45 to 18:15, Monday to Saturday (actual open position covers 80% work per week incl. Saturday)
Estimated Start Date: November 2024
TASKS
- Welcoming of visitors, guiding them through security installations and presenting to them the exhibition area of the Centre, including the 360° cinema;
- Answering ad hoc inquiries by visitors, notably on the Europa Experience, but also on more general questions about the EU and its institutions or, if necessary, forwarding these inquiries immediately to designated EP or EC counterpart(s);
- Welcoming and facilitating groups in the Role Play Game (RPG) area of the Centre, including assisting visitors in using the technological tools of the exhibition, collecting all material after use;
- Other ad hoc services;
REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the EU, its institutions and current EU affairs;
- Client orientation, pro-active attitude and politeness;
- Able to give short presentations to visitor groups;
- Excellent language skills in German and/or French, English and Luxembourgish;
- Sufficient IT knowledge (knowledge of Excel, good command of Word, internet, social media tools etc.) to process requests, answer inquiries and be able to handle existing technical equipment;
- Certified skills in First Aid is advantageous, but not required.
